Red Ribbon Week - Lexington Elementary
Since the late 80's, Red Ribbon Week is recognized by many schools nationally as a week dedicated to emphasize saying no to drugs and alcohol. It's a week where all children are armed with the knowledge that they have the power to say no and make the right decisions to growing into healthy, drug-free adults. Lexington Elementary in Los Gatos, put a fun twist to Red Ribbon Week and added "Making Nutritional Choices" to the week-long theme...

3-Peat Victory as "#1 Juice Bar in Silicon Valley"
3 times is truly a charm, as Blendz was voted by the readers of The Wave Magazine as "#1 Juice Bar" for the 3rd time in a row. This win couldn't have come at a better time as they celebrate their 3 year anniversary, so essentially they were #1 from the time they opened their doors for business...

24-Hour Relay for Life
2006 marks the 3rd consecutive year that Blendz has taken part in the annual Relay for Life in Campbell, benefiting the American Cancer Society. This year the Blendz team was named in honor of Denise Phipps' (Vice President and co-founder of Blendz) father – Rocco "Rocky" Genovese, who recently passed less than 1 year ago due to lung cancer. Cleverly and appropriately named, team "BLENDZ ROCKS!!!" With a fundraising goal of $5,000.00, they exceeded their goal by 160% - raising over $8,000.00...

Blood Drive Results
In wake of the recent announcements that there is a shortage of blood donations nationwide, Blendz stores in downtown Campbell and Los Gatos took the initiative to host their very first Blood Drive on February 17th and 21st. Blood Centers of the Pacific was present for the pre-screening and drawing of donors...
